Jennifer was born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina, and graduated from Aiken High School in 1989. She began her career with Aiken Pest Control, Inc., where she managed the office for ten years and built lasting friendships with both coworkers and customers.

In 1999, she met the love of her life and moved to the Lowcountry. After enjoying time as a stay-at-home mom, she returned to the workforce with the same determination and heart she poured into her family.

In 2006, Jennifer joined the Honorable Elbert O. Duffie, III, where she served as his paralegal and office manager for 16 years. She found deep fulfillment in walking alongside people during some of their most difficult seasons. Her kindness and willingness to pause and listen made her not only a trusted professional but also a true friend to many.

In 2025, Jennifer became part of the Brice Herndon Funeral Home family, where she feels truly at home. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving others with the compassion, warmth, and dedication that have always guided her.

Jennifer and her husband, H. B. “Bubba” Harrell, have shared 25 wonderful years together. They are blessed with three children and three grandchildren, who are the joy of her life.
