Remembering Uncle Marshall:
I only knew you for about 5 years. I thoroughly enjoyed being in your presence. We talked a lot about something we had in common. Farming. Just being around you was comforting. You had this sense of peace about you that made me at peace. You spoke of your family and your up bringing not with a sense of pride but of thankfulness. Not too many men these days have that quality. Even up to the last days when we spoke I never heard a complaining tone. You will be missed. I only wish we had met sooner. God bless your family and may we all remember the life you lived.

Heaven gained another angel. Uncle Marshall was one of the best. He loved Aunt Helen and her family as his own and made us proud to call him "Uncle". He always had a hug for me as well as many. He loved his families, friends and neighbors and for that he leaves us with beautiful memories. Rest in peace my "Uncle", your time on earth is done. I love you.

Marshall Givens was not only a family member but a true friend that was always so pleasant to be with. Gifted with many talents but the most gift Marshall gave was love and friendship to everyone he came in contact with. Marshall was one of the most gentle souls with such a caring heart. We all will miss but cherish the soft spoken words of wisdom, the kind smile and the gentle handshake that he knew so well. The Kingdom of Heaven and the Lord's House received a special man today.
