Obituary

Mr. William Edward Teeling, 79, of Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Wednesday evening, March 8, 2023 at Trident Medical Center.  He was the husband of the late Barbara Lopez Teeling.

 

Born August 29, 1943, in Ballston, New York, he was a son of the late Alfred William Teeling and Dorothy Pettit Teeling.  He served his country in the United States Navy.  He had a strong work ethic and loved his family.  He was a devoted husband and a wonderful dad and granddad.

 

Surviving are: his children, Marlene Teeling of Walterboro, Philip Eric Teeling (Trisha) of New York and Shana Writesel (Stephen) of Ruffin; brother, Alfred Teeling of New York;  6 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Delmonter.

 

Graveside services will be held 2 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, March 16, 2023 at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
