Mr. Trussie Frank Mead, 64, entered into eternal rest Monday morning, September 19, 2022, at his residence.
Born November 9, 1957, in Charleston, he was a son of the late Harold Henry Mead and the late Grace Addline Mead. Trussie was a high school graduate of Baptist Hill High, worked for a number of years at Walterboro Electrical and later retiring from Blanchard Machinery. He was known to be a hard working man who would work twenty-four/seven to help anyone in need. Mr. Mead was a man who enjoyed his hobbies of fishing and hunting. He also possessed a deep love for his family and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was a great Dad and Husband and being an amazing family oriented man.
Surviving are: his wife of 40 years, Joyce Fay Hickman Mead; his children, James Robert Banks, Jr. (Elise), Cindy Virden (Brad), Crystal Carraway (Mitchell Evans) and Angel Carraway; grandchildren, Conner Garrick, Dylan Banks (Haley), Christopher Banks (Taylor), Faith Bishop, Ayden Banks, Taylor Virden Marin (Andres), Aaron Virden, Emily Evans and Tyler Evans; great-grandchildren Gabriel Banks and Cason Banks. He is also survived by his brothers, Harold Mead, Sr., Ernest Mead, Arthur Mead; sisters, Belinda Nolte and Pattie Pollock; a step-brother, Russell Brockman and step-sisters, Judy Gilmore and Jeannie Anderson.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Jacquie Brockman and step-brothers, Frank Brockman and Larry Brockman
