Sandra Polk Harrelson

Mrs. Sandra Polk Harrelson, 74, of Varnville, entered into rest Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Larry Paul Harrelson. 

Born September 9, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Elliot Calvin Polk and Verlee DeLoach Polk.  She was a retired clerk and treasurer for the Town of Varnville.  She enjoyed sewing and bird watching.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who dearly loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are: her children, Michael Paul Harrelson of Seabrrok, Jennifer Harrelson of Seabrook, and Wendy McCollough of Varnville; step-mother, Juanita Polk of Varnville; brothers, Jesse Polk of California and Ronald Polk of Hampton; sister, Sheryl McKinney of Nixville; and grandchildren, Owen Harrelson, Rylee Harrelson, Ben Crapse, Chad Crapse, and Blaze McCollough.

A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Saturday morning, June 19, 2021, at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Varnville-Hampton.  The Rev. Dan Hodge will be officiating.  The family will receive friends for a time of visitation following the service.
