Sandra Bryant

Mrs. Sandra Bolton Bryant, 80, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Saturday evening, May 1, 2021 at Roper Hospital.  She was the widow of Mr. Jasper Cantey Bryant, Jr.

Born June 26, 1940 in Mayo, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Odell Bolton and Velma Edmonds Bolton.  She was a faithful and dedicated member of North Walterboro Baptist Church, where she served on the Hospitality Committee and was always a present, helping hand.  She loved being of service to her church and was especially known for her sweet tea.  Mrs. Sandra enjoyed crocheting and painting; and loved playing on her IPad.  She was everyone’s “MeMe” because of her nurturing spirit and her love for everyone.

Surviving are: her daughters, Candy Bryant Martin and her husband John David, Jr. of Walterboro, Heather Bryant Martin and her husband Bennie of Goose Creek, and Tracey Bryant Caldwell and her husband Brad of Summerville; grandchildren, Daniel (Allyson), Brandon, Desmond, Madison (Maucari), Triston, Hunter, and Ben; and a great grandson, Apollo.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tyler Eugene Caldwell.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: North Walterboro Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 1 o’clock, Saturday afternoon, May 8, 2021 at North Walterboro Baptist Church, 2177 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 am until the hour of service in the church sanctuary.
