Mrs. Ruby Helen Dewitt Fisk, 84, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Friday, November 13, 2020, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late Mr. Berry Shuler Fisk.
Born November 19, 1935 in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Mr. Eugene Wesley Dewitt, Sr. and the late Mrs. Ellen Victoria Crosby Dewitt. Mrs. Fisk was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Cottageville for thirty-one years. She was always ready to spring into action to help anyone she possibly could. During her dedicated time at Gospel Tabernacle, she was the Sunday school teacher for the children for ten years. She was known by her kindness and willing to give, especially to the children in her Sunday school class. Mrs. Fisk spent thirty-two years assisting her husband in their store, Fisk Grocery with paperwork and any other position necessary that she could fulfill. She also had a knack for cleaning, making and keeping up a lovely home her for her family.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Fisk, Glenn Fisk and Dennis Fisk; and a brother, James Dewitt all of Walterboro.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by: a son, Greg Fisk; a sister, Ruth Dewitt; and a brother, Eugene Dewitt, Jr.
Graveside Service will be conducted at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, November 17, 2020, at Tabor United Methodist Churchyard, 7186 Bells Highway, Ruffin.
