Ronald Ralph Seefeldt Obituary

Mr. Ronald Ralph Seefeldt, 73, of Varnville, entered into rest Friday evening, January 21, 2022, at Hampton Medical Center.

Born September 30, 1948, in Manchester, South Dakota, he was the son of the late Mr. Clifford Seefeldt and the late Mrs. Irene Dirksen Seefeldt.  He was the husband to Mrs. Patricia Ann Wiggins Seefeldt.

Ronald faithfully served his country, becoming a veteran  after twenty years in the United States Navy.  He and his wife moved to the Hampton County area several years back from Watertown, South Dakota, where he mostly worked building and constructing houses.  After his time in construction he later worked for a few years with Habitat for Humanity when he moved to Varnville.  Ronald was one of the kindest people you would meet.  Everyone that knew him or just met him was always drawn to the way he was.  He was liked by everyone and he showed the same generosity in return.  Ronald had a dependable reputation for assisting others and always enjoyed helping anyone he could.   He had a big heart for his family as a loving husband, an amazing dad and a wonderfully caring grandfather.   To those who knew him- knew he was overall a great man.

In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by his son, Chris Barrineau of North Dakota; daughters, Julie Warner (Sonny) of Kentucky, Mary Jarrell (Chris) of Hampton, Robbie Walker and Angela Carole Pulson both of South Dakota; fourteen grandchildren.  He is also survived by a sister, Eileen Dunbar (Dennis) of Clarks, South Dakota.
