Ronald Hudson Obituary

Mr. Ronald Milo Hudson, 73, entered into eternal rest Wednesday morning, September 7, 2022 at his residence.

 

Born August 19, 1949 in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Augustus Ulmer Hudson and Lenora Smyly Hudson Keegan.  Ronnie served his country in the South Carolina Army National Guard.  He had worked for JP Stevens in Walterboro and then went to work for Savannah River Site where he retired from the E & I Department.  He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.  If you knew Ronnie, you loved him.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who dearly loved his family.

 

Surviving are: his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Brazell Hudson of Ruffin; sons, Kammeron Hudson and his wife Michelle of Ruffin and Michael Hudson and his wife Emma of Franklin, North Carolina; grandchildren, Ashley, Spencer, Alexis, Connor and Riley; sister-in-law, Lynn Thomas Hudson of Ruffin; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry L. Hudson.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice.

 

A memorial service will be held in his honor, Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 5 o'clock, at the Walterboro Church of Christ, 1420 Wichman Street., Walterboro.
