Ms. Robin Heather Craig-Post, 57 of Brunson, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 9, 2022.
Robin was born October 13 in New Jersey where she resided most of her life before moving to South Carolina in July 1999. She was a member of the North Reformed Church in Newark, NJ.
Robin was a single mother most of her life and lived every day for her family. Family was everything to her. She was an independent, prideful, hardworking woman who would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. She was always generous and never met a stranger no matter where she went. Her absolute favorite place in the world to go was Cape May Zoo in Cape May, New Jersey where she spent many weekends with her children. She loved her family and through her sickness she stayed strong for them, but most of all, she loved her grand babies and lived to be their “MeMe”.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Post, Sr.; mother, Patricia Craig of Harrison, NJ; children, Jarrett Leach (Leslie) of Brunson, Brittany Chassereau (Brian) of Nixville and Jeri Post of Brunson; grandchildren, Justin Bowers, Aubree Chassereau, Liam Chassereau and Emma Leach; siblings, Glen Craig of Harrison, NJ, Bonnie Craig-Davis of Riverside, CA, Heather Craig of Harrison, NJ, Jackelyn Matos of Chattanooga, TN and John Craig, Jr. of North Prairie, WI; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who she loved dearly. She is predeceased by her father, John T. Craig, Sr. of Monroe, New York.
In lieu of flowers, any donations will be put towards the purchase of a memorial plaque placed at Cape May Zoo in memory of Robin as one of her final wishes.
Memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced when available.
