Mr. Preston Brooks Zeigler, Sr., 76, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday morning, April 26, 2022 at his residence.
Born August 29, 1945 in Colleton County, he was the son of the late Percy McRae Zeigler and Leona Berry Zeigler. He had a passion for working and loved to talk to people. In his spare time, he loved to go hunting and fishing and he loved his dog “Blackie”.
Surviving are: a son, Preston Zeigler, Jr., (Lisa); brother, Ray Zeigler; sisters, Nancy Carson (Wendel, Sr.), and Carole McCutchen (Roger); two grandchildren, Anthony Trea Zeigler (Amber) and Shane Zeigler; three great grandchildren; three nieces, Angie McCutchen, Dale McCutchen and Susan Crosby (Wayne); five nephews, Carl Zeigler, Wendel Carson (Cristy), Daniel Carson (Brandy), Dale McCutchen and Andrew Carson. He was preceded in death by two sons Rodney D. Zeigler and Anthony Kevin Zeigler.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning, May 4, 2022, from the graveside in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 7345 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro.
