Mrs. Pearl DeWitt Beach, 70, of Walterboro, passed away Tuesday morning, February 25, 2020, at Colleton Medical Center.
Born July 28, 1949 in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Columbus DeWitt, Sr. and Valisha Walling DeWitt. She retired from the Colleton County School District. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Downtown Walterboro. She was also an avid fan of football and wrestling.
Surviving are: her husband, Gerald Lucas Beach, Jr. of Walterboro; children, Tammy Beach Crosby and her husband Donald, and Gerald Lucas Beach, III and his wife Casey, all of Walterboro; grandchildren, Devin Tyler Crosby, Caitlin Michelle Crosby, Tristin Shane Beach, Dawson Caleb Beach, and Jayden Trevor Beach; great grandson, Connor Lee Crosby; sister, Patricia Smith of Walterboro; brothers, Frank DeWitt and his wife Carolyn, Columbus DeWitt, Jr. and his wife Bridgett, and Roy DeWitt and his wife Lisa, all of Walterboro; and a sister-in-law, Jane Beach Crosby and her husband Jimmy of Walterboro.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o’clock, Friday afternoon, February 28, 2020 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Dr. Scott Wachter and The Reverend Michael Frederickson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Hendersonville Highway, Walterboro
