Patricia Ann Grooms

Mrs. Patricia Ann Grooms, 32, of Round O, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, in Colleton County.

Patricia was born August 3, 1989, in Charleston, South Carolina; she was a daughter to Mr. Michael Murphy and Gradine Carla Benton. 

If you knew Patricia, you'd quickly find that she spoke her mind.  She meant what she said and said what she meant, with no filter.  She had that smile that would light up a room and brighten anybody's entire day.   You could often catch her spending time with her two boys and without a doubt being the best mother she could possibly be.  

Surviving are: her husband, John Franklin Grooms, Jr.; her two sons, Calvin Souder and Evan Jack Grooms; step-children, Michael Grooms, Taylor Grooms and Hailey Grooms; her special aunt Emma Oliver and her uncle, Derek; cousins, Keshawna Benton, James Benton, John Benton, Timelia Stanley and Elegance Stanley.  She was also survived by several more aunts, uncles and cousins.

A time of visitation will be held from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock, Friday evening, November 19, 2021, at the Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.
