Nancy Lyons

Ms. Nancy Driggers Lyons, 60, of Round O, passed away Thursday evening, July 20, 2023 at her residence.

Born December 7, 1962 in Walterboro, she was the daughter of the late Alton Norman Driggers and Betty Jean Dantzler Driggers.  If you knew Nancy, you knew what was important to her: her faith, her family, and her friends.  She grew up in Bedon Baptist Church and later became a member of Open Door Ministries.  She loved the Lord and especially loved singing worship music.  She was an avid animal lover. She loved her dogs, Sadie and Sassy; loved her horses and barrel racing.  She loved her family deeply, always taking care of those who needed her, and especially loved her brothers.

Surviving are: her son, Richard Michael Lyons of Round O, her fiancé, Roy Sparks, Jr. of Round O; brother, Robert Alton Driggers and his wife Sherry of Round O; her nieces and nephew that she loved as her own, Erin Driggers, Amber Driggers Gantt, Calli Driggers, and Alton Driggers; her former husband and friend, Ricky Lyons and his wife Louise of Walterboro; and an aunt, Linda LeMaster and her husband Harley of Florence.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Edgar Eugene “Eddie” Driggers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock, Wednesday morning, July 26, 2023, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery, Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro.
