Michelle Power

Mrs. Michelle Connelly Power, 52, of Hampton, entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 10, 2022.

Born June 15, 1970 in Walterboro, she was a daughter of Gerald Wayne Connelly and the late Cindy Lou Crosby Connelly.  She was an Art Teacher, having taught PK-7th grade at Brunson Elementary School and Fennell Elementary School.  She loved her students and they loved her.  She was a talented artist and was also known as the tech repair lady at the school.  Michelle was active at Open Arms Fellowship where she enjoyed helping with meals and anything else she could.  She loved her family and her dogs.

Surviving are: her father, Gerald Connelly; her husband, James Michael Power; son, Oliver Keith Gamble; and several cousins.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Cindy; maternal grandparents, George Vernon Crosby and Liddy Bell Crosby; and paternal grandparents, Ralph Connelly and Christine Connelly.

Funeral services will be held 1 o’clock, Friday afternoon, November 18, 2022 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel.  Interment will follow in Doctor’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Doctor’s Creek Road, Walterboro.
