Obituary
Michael Oscar Crosby, 56, of Yemassee, entered into eternal rest Monday, August 28, 2023, at his residence. He was born August 30, 1966 in Walterboro, South Carolina to the late Noel Oscar Crosby and Frances Marie Hudson Crosby.
Mr. Crosby retired from Simco Metal Recycling Center in Yemassee. He was a volunteer firefighter who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He never met a stranger. Michael enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Prices Bridge Hunting Club.
Michael is survived by his sister; Jeannie Giardina (JR) of Walterboro; his brothers, Ricky Crosby of Yemassee, and Rufus Crosby (Rose) of Walterboro. He also leaves behind four nephews; two nieces; four great-nieces and has a great nephew on the way.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5 o'clock Friday afternoon, September 8, 2023, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend White Mayton officiating.
