Mrs. Mary Linda Riddle Dickerson, 75, of Ehrhardt , passed away Saturday morning, February 6, 2021, at her residence. She was the widow of the late Mr. James T. Dickerson, Sr. Mrs. Dickerson was born August 9, 1945 in Charlotte, N.C. and was a daughter to the late Mr. John Silas Riddle and the late Mrs. Mary Ruth Harmon Riddle.


Always ready with a hug or a smile, Mrs. Dickerson was known by many as a very special and caring person. She loved her family, friends and almost everyone she came to know. Spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored immensely. She loved the times spent with her great grandchildren swinging on the front porch and all the many quality moments they had growing up. Linda was dedicated and greatly involved within her church at Advent Lutheran Church of North Charleston until moving inland. After moving to Ehrhardt, she joined Colston Branch Baptist Church. Shopping was a fun activity she enjoyed and over the years scrap-booking, reading and photo albums became fond hobbies of hers.


She is survived by her only child, James T. Dickerson, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Ehrhardt; nine grandchildren, F. Wesley Craven III, Stephanie Foss, Tiffany Hartley (Brandon), Kody Casey (Molly), Brandon Best, Shanna Daigle, Amy Gallegos (C. J.), Thomas Dickerson, and Dawson Dickerson. She also has fifteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, Nancy Whitehead, Margie Coker (Wayne), and Lisa Samuelson-Jones (Jeremy); and nephews, Thomas Whitehead (Terri), John Whitehead (Gloria) and Charles Whitehead (Vicky). She leaves behind a lifelong friend of fifty plus years, Diane F. Dietz. She had two god-daughters, Amy J. Mikell of Charleston, and Tiffany C. Hartley of Walterboro and a god-son, F. Wesley Craven, III of Ehrhardt.

She was preceded in death by: a brother Donald L. Riddle and sisters, Johnette R. Myers and Elizabeth R. Whitehead.
