Mrs. Martha Moore Faulkner, 75, of Cottageville, entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, July 24, 2022, at Colleton Medical Center.
Born November 3, 1946, in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Francis James Moore and Valaree Howell Moore. She was a retired medical office assistant with Lowcountry Orthopedics for twenty-six years. She was a member of Maple Cane Baptist Church. Anyone who knew her, knew she was a very unique person who never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off her back. She was an avid Clemson Tiger fan. More than anything, she loved her family and loved to read her Bible and share the word of God with everyone.
Surviving are: her husband of thirty-seven, James Melvin “Jimmy” Faulkner of Cottageville; son, John Andrew “Andy” Sahlmann and his wife Maryann of Cottageville; daughter, Susan Sahlmann Fahner and her husband Micah of Ridgeville; grandchildren, Bryan Smith (Julia), Kayce Dew (Louie), Hannah Barrineau (Kevin), Amanda Sahlmann, and Anna Grace Fahner; great grandchildren, Kai Smith, Eleanor Lefevere, Ayden Jones, Brooks Barrineau and Oliver Smith; her fur babies, Dabo, Tiger and Stella; and all of her Ferndale children.
Funeral services will be held 1 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, July 28, 2022, at Maple Cane Baptist Church, 21287 Augusta Highway, Cottageville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:30 am until the hour of service in the church sanctuary.
