Miss. Margaret Craven, 68, of Walterboro, entered into rest Saturday morning, January 22, 2022, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Born October 17, 1953, in Walterboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late David Craven, Jr. and the late Sallie Mae Evans Craven. Margaret was always passionate about music and was always especially delighted when she would hear an Alan Jackson tune. She will always be remembered as her mother’s precious child.
Surviving are: her siblings, Paul Craven, Judy Delisle, Vera Ketchum and her husband Doug, and Sandra Kinard; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Craven; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billie Craven; brother-in-law, Clark Kinard; and sisters-in-law, Juanita S. Craven and Emily S. Craven.
The family is extremely grateful for the love and care provided to Margaret by the staff of Colleton Medical Center and their team on the third floor, and the staff of Amedisys Hospice – especially Heather and Nicole.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to the charity or church of one’s choice.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Tuesday morning, January 25, 2022, from the graveside at Bedon Baptist Church, 2410 Cottageville Highway, Walterboro,.
