Lois Smith Braddock

Lois Smith Braddock, 62, of Round O, South Carolina, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  Born April 18, 1958 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Mr. Jack Dempsey Smith and the late Mrs. Josephine Pearl Ragan Smith.  She was the widow to the late Mr. Pete Braddock.

Lois had a vast love for horses.  She was a avid collector of the known Disney character “The Little Mermaid”. Her family as well as others knew her as a fun, happy, yet very feisty lady.  She possessed a unconditional love for her animals, especially her favorite Chihuahua, Peppie. 

She is survived by: a daughter, Shannon Cook of Round O, a son, Travis Braddock, a step-son, Shawn Braddock of Cottageville; grandchildren, Blake Cook, Christopher Cook, Tia Cook, Julia Braddock and Kailyn Cook; a great-grandchild, Drew Christopher Cook; brothers, Thomas Ragan of Inman, Jackie Smith of Inman and James Smith of  Benson, Minnesota; and her sister, Nancy Canaday, of West Columbia.
