Kyle Edward Preston, Sr.

Kyle Edward Preston, Sr., 59, of Round O, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, October 24, 2020, at his residence.  Born May 15, 1961 in Akron, Ohio he is the son of the late Mr. Larry Dean Preston and the late Mrs. Jean Noreen Tisler. 

Kyle will always be remembered as a great hunter and outdoorsman.  With his great love for the outdoors, he was often out fishing or having a blessed hunting season.  At times bring home ten or so deer in one season. Just about anything outdoors related he was known to have a part in.  Mr. Preston worked as a mechanic at Goodyear Tire and Southern Crane and Tractor Company for many years till his early retirement. Known for his hard and dedicated work, he was great and knowledgeable in repairs and would certainly help anyone who asked for it.  Kyle loved his family unconditionally.   He was a good father to his children but, his grandchildren were very special to him and especially time spent with them.

He is survived by: his son, Kyle Edward Preston, Jr. of Ruffin; his daughters, Annie Preston of Ruffin and Kelly Preston of Walterboro; his special friend a commonly known wife, Cynthia Stutts Preston of Round O; mother-in-law, Patricia Stutts; his past wife, Charlene Preston; grandchildren, Mary Preston, Rose Huff and Travis Preston; a brother-in-law, Jose Bustamate; and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Preston was preceded in death by his three sisters, Cynthia Bustamate, Loretta Preston and Deborah Hooper.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 11 o’clock Thursday morning, October 29, 2020, at the Gruber Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
