John Lewis Tindall, Sr.

Mr. John Lewis Tindall, Sr., 56, of Reevesville, entered into rest Tuesday morning, December 24, 2019, at the Trident Medical Center in North Charleston. 

Born November 7, 1963, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Ashely Price Tindall, Jr. and the late Donna Shaver Tindall.   He served in the South Carolina Army National Guard.   John was a mechanic having been well known for his many years of work at Legrande Fender in Saint George.  He enjoyed fishing and was of the Roman Catholic faith.

Surviving are: his wife of thirty-six years, Mrs. Melendia Stroub Tindall; a son, Joseph Ashley Tindall and his wife Ashley of Reevesville; two brothers, Ashley Price TIndall, III and his wife Sarah of Johns Island and David Allen Tindall of Charleston; a sister, Sharon Tindall Mcelfresh and her husband Robert of Aiken; and several nieces and nephews as well as extended family.  He was preceded in death by a son, John Lewis Tindall, Jr.  

The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 o’clock Monday morning, December 30, 2019, from Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 925 South Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro.   The Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
