Jerrold Blewer, Sr.

Mr. Jerrold Lee Blewer, Sr., 73, of Ridgeville, entered into rest Thursday, October 7, 2021, at his residence while under the care of Amedisys Hospice.  He was the loving husband of the late Mrs. Linda Ann Dandridge Blewer. 

Born October 23, 1947, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Howard Blewer and the late Lula Mae Hale.   He retired as a sheet metal mechanic and will always be remembered as a family man, who centered his life around his late wife.  Family and friends were of utmost importance to Jerrold.  He enjoyed gardening and was very talented at playing the drums.

Surviving are: three children, Christina McKeithan of Ridgeville, Jerry Blewer, Jr. of Summerville, and Jesse Blewer (Tracy) of Summerville; and seven grandchildren, Michael McKeithan, Ashley McKeithan, Cody Blewer, Amanda Blewer, Bree Blewer, Travis Blewer, and Savannah Blewer.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Blewer. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock Thursday morning, October 14, 2021, from the graveside at the Ackerman Cemetery at Red Oak in Cottageville.  The Reverend Bobby Ethridge officiating.
