Janice Rahn Wiggins

Mrs. Janice Marie Rahn Wiggins, 64, of Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday morning, March 16, 2021, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. 

Born February 12, 1957, in Walterboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lynell Rahn and the late Marie Carter Rahn Hiers.  Janice was a devoted homemaker who centered her life around her family.  She enjoyed her grandchildren more than anything and always cherished the joy she brought to their life.  She enjoyed fishing, country music, collecting, traveling, and trips to the beach.   She was a great southern cook.    She loved Jesus with all of her heart and was a member of Peniel Baptist Church.

Surviving are: her husband of forty-seven years, Mr. Robert Stanley Wiggins; five children, Carl Wiggins (Kathy Wiggins) of Cottageville, Hammy Wiggins of Knightsville, Melissa Wiggins Delk (T.J. Grayson) of Ruffin, Adam Wiggins of Walterboro, and Miles Wiggins (Jessica Kincaid) of Walterboro; three brothers, Dale Rahn, Darren Rahn, and Marvin Rahn; fifteen grandchildren, Preston, Ashley, Emily, Preston, Jeremy, Kylie, Morgan, Cassady, Adrianna, Lillianna, Jackson, Kailei, Kadynce, Kamryn, and Abby; and three great grandchildren, Carter, Malia, Ariah; as well as a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Saturday morning, March 20, 2021, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery, Forks Road, Islandton.
