Mrs. Grace Overlock Savage, 85, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Friday morning, September 8, 2023, at Medical University of South Carolina.
Born April 22, 1938, in Herman, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Gardner Overlock and Edith Phillips Overlock. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved reading, was an excellent cook, and a hard worker. She centered her life around her family, and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her husband of 48 years, Robert Wayne Savage of Walterboro; children, Shawne Baker and her husband Mark of Phoenix City, Alabama, Anthony Kelley of Walterboro, Alvin Kelley and his wife Karen of North Charleston, Paul Savage and his wife Crystal of Summerville, and Lisa Hinkley and her husband Troy of Maine; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: The Alzheimer’s Association or to The Demetia Society of America.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 12 o’clock, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 South Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner.
