Obituary

Mr. Gordon Richard Prochazka, 79, of Round O, entered into eternal rest Tuesday morning, June 7, 2022, at his residence.

Born October 9, 1942, in Washington D.C., he was a son of the late Rudolf Charles Prochazka and Alfredia Ethyl Prochazka. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Gordon moved from his hometown in Maryland to Charleston, later to reside in Round O. He had a small ventured career selling insurance, alongside his extended career in electronics under navy contracts.  

Surviving are: his son David Prochazka; his daughters, Robin Bresnahan and Lori Springer; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by a wife, Bonnie Prochazka; one grandchild and a brother, Gary Prochazka.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
