George Heath, III Obituary

Mr. George Doyle Heath, III, 51, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, North Carolina.

 

Born in Lumberton, North Carolina, he was the son of George Doyle Heath, Jr. and the late Anita Thomas Heath.  George graduated from Northeastern High School in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.  He enjoyed going to church when he was able and chatting with his Facebook friends.

 

Surviving are: his father, George D. Heath, Jr. of Florence; aunt, Jane Heath Owens; and cousins, David B. Stanaland, III, Virginia B. Warren, Kimberly T. Flake, Ashley T. Little, Christie Thomas, Kaye Jones and her husband Tom, Beth Taylor and her husband Rex, Jim Vansant and his wife Polly, and Katie Moydel, and their families. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Thomas Heath; brother, Thomas Perry Heath; grandparents, Reverend George D. Heath, Sr., Sara S. Heath, Harold R. Thomas, and Barbara S. Thomas; aunt, Barbara Ann T. Willis; and uncle, Harold R. Thomas, Jr.

 

Graveside funeral services will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2020 at Ehrhardt Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Church Road, Ehrhardt.
