Ms. Emily Baldwin Bristow, 69, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest Wednesday evening, April 21, 2021 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Born December 4, 1951 in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late William Sidney “Billie” Baldwin and the late Martha Farmer Baldwin Trankley. She had attended Palmer Business College and was a projects manager for SoftPlay, LLC. Emily possessed a free spirit and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with her family and as with anyone that is a Baldwin, her life was Bennett’s Point and being around the water.
Surviving are: her sons, Nate Bristow and his wife Brenda of Walterboro and William Matthew Bristow of Charleston; two brothers, W.S. “Tadpole” Baldwin, Jr. of Bennett’s Point and Richard Prentiss Baldwin and his wife Annette of Bennett’s Point; a sister, Claudia Lee Baldwin Boensch and her husband Cranny, Jr. of Walterboro; and grandchildren, D.J. Bristow, Tristian Bristow, Michael Gruber (Brittan) and Michelle Gruber. She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Carolina Baldwin Felder.
Private funeral services with her family in attendance will be held at Bennett’s Point.
