Mrs. Edith Driggers Beach, 78, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday afternoon, July 18, 2021, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Born May 26, 1943, in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, she was the only child of the late Herman Lee Driggers and the late Alene Kinsey Driggers. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and in earlier years hunting alongside her husband.
Surviving are: her husband, Mr. James Edward Beach; two sons, Dean O’Quinn and his wife Sharon of Camden and Curt O’Quinn and his wife Sue of Minnesota; two daughters, Shannon Bishop and her husband Pete of Islandton and Faith Nettles and her husband Michael of Walterboro; and four grandchildren, Casey O’Quinn, Marlin Bishop, Aiden Nettles, and Peyton Nettles.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock Friday morning, July 23, 2021, from the graveside at Mount Carmel United Methodist Churchyard, 5277 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro. The Reverend Douglas Marchant officiating.
