Mr. David Mark Jones, 64, of Summerville, entered into rest Tuesday evening, January 24, 2022, at his residence.
Born March 17, 1957, in South Hill, Virginia, he was a son of the late Lloyd Ashton Jones and the late Mary Caruthers Jones. He served in the United States Army and was a retired supervisor from the State Ports Authority in Charleston. He was a member of Sandy Dam United Methodist Church. He will always be remembered for the large and loving heart he possessed as well as his love for hunting and fishing.
Surviving are: his wife of forty-five years, Mrs. Theresa Harvey Jones; a son, David Jones, Jr. and his wife Ashten of Summerville; and a daughter, Jennifer Gibson and her husband Jeff of James Island; two brothers, Jeff Jones and his wife Nancy of Walterboro and Lloyd A. Jones, III and his wife Jeanne of Goose Creek; and four grandchildren, Kayla, Blaine, Madelyn, and Sophia.

Funeral services with Military Honors will be conducted 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, February 1, 2022, from the graveside in Sandy Dam United Methodist Churchyard, 3422 Charleston Highway, Walterboro.
