Obituary

Ms. Darlene Walker Hartley, 60, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Thursday evening, July 28, 2022 at her residence.

Born April 1, 1962 in Walterboro, she was a daughter of William George Walker and the late Gladys Craven Walker.  She was a member of Welch Creek Baptist Church.  She loved doing volunteer work at Northside Elementary School and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are: her father, George Walker of Walterboro; children, Elizabeth Walker, Timothy Lemacks, and Janet Lemacks (James Priester), all of Walterboro; sister, Renae Whaley (Marion) of Edisto Island; brother, Jeff Walker (Paula) of Walterboro; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Columbo Walker.
