Mrs. Christine Karis Thomas, known by all as “Chris”, age 47, of Walterboro, entered into rest Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Born June 13, 1972, in Toledo, Ohio, she was a daughter of Mr. Robert Raymond Carnes and Mrs. Edna Merica “Micki” Blake Crisman. She made Walterboro her home in 2005, and was currently working with L and S Trucking. Chris was known as a hardheaded workaholic whose heart was larger than life. She cared for others and was always willing to give to anyone that was in need. Her family was of utmost importance to her and she was the essential part that held them all together.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Micki (Mark) of Florissant, Missouri; her father, Robert of Toledo, Ohio; and her husband, Mr. Jami Robert Thomas; are three children, Samantha Varnadoe (Jordan) of Brunson, Jami Nathaniel Thomas of Walterboro, and Karis Alexandra Thomas of Walterboro; a sister, Cathryn Patricia Carnes of Freemont, Ohio; two grandchildren, Catori Thomas and Greyson Thomas; and her father-in-law, Robert Daniel Thomas of Walterboro. She is also survived by a large and loving host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
