Catherine McGhee Czech

Mrs. Catherine McGhee Czech, known by many as “Cathie”, age 74, of Round O, entered into rest Wednesday afternoon, September 1, 2021, at Summerville Medical Center.

Born June 15, 1947, in Glasgow, Scotland, she made the Lowcountry of South Carolina her home following her husband’s discharge from military service. She was a member for over forty-five years of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Walterboro and will always be remembered for the devotion she possessed for reading her bible. She was talented at knitting and crocheting.

Surviving are: her husband of fifty-two years, Mr. Thomas Arthur Czech; seven children, Frank Maloon of Walterboro, Sonja Glenn of Round O, Tabitha Ann Czech of Summerville, Cathie Sue Solina of Louisiana, Thomas Stanley Czech of Greenville, Michael Paul Czech, and Daniel Jacob Czech of Summervile; seventeen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

When the current situation that exists with the novel coronavirus subsides, a celebration of her life will be held and the details will be released as plans are made.
