Brantley Allen Carter, 64, of Bamberg, entered into eternal rest Monday, January 11, 2021 at his residence.
Born October 21, 1956 in Walterboro, he was the son of James Clyde Carter, Sr. and the late Mary Ellen Kinard Carter. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to farm and also enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed baseball. Anyone who knew Brantley, knew he was one of a kind and you would never find another person like him.
He leaves behind his best friend and soulmate of 34 years, Patricia Ann “Pat” of Bamberg; daughter, Brandi Williams and her husband Wayne of Olar; grandson, Timothy W. Williams; brother, Wes Carter (Cathy) of Bamberg; nephews, James “Jamie” Clyde Carter, III and his wife Nancy and Steven Carter and his wife Sarah; and 5 great nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Clyde Carter, Jr.
The family will have a private memorial service.
