Obituary
Mr. George Robert Connelly, Jr., affectionately known to everyone as “Bobby”, 53, of Islandton, entered into eternal rest Tuesday evening, August 29, 2023, at his residence.
Born August 10, 1970, in Colleton County, he was the son of the late George Robert Connelly, Sr. and Mary Alice Evans. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and especially enjoyed having cookouts with his family.
Surviving are: his children, Codey Robertson (Faith) of Smoaks and Tiffani Robertson (Joey) of Walterboro; sister, Mary Connelly of Islandton; brother, Johnny Evans (Tonya) of Bamberg; and 4 grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held 3 o’clock, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Cross Swamp Cemetery. Reverend Gordon Ackerman officiating.
