Archie Reid Hiott, 13, of St. George, entered into eternal rest Sunday afternoon, October 22, 2023.
Born December 3, 2009, in Charleston, he was the son of Riddick Harold Hiott, III and Christine Page Thornall Hiott. Archie loved fishing and always wanted to be a “pro” bass fisherman. He also loved playing video games, especially Fortnite and shootin’ pool. When he wasn’t fishing or playing video games, you could find him watching YouTube videos on how to fish. Archie had a big heart and dearly loved his family and was the best brother anyone could have.
Surviving are: his parents, Ricky Hiott of Walterboro and Christine Hiott of St. George; brother, Riddick Harold Hiott, IV; sister, Madison Lynn Paisley Hiott; grandparents, Ricky and Tammy Hiott of Walterboro, Brenda and Richie Shuman of St. George and Steven Thornall of Summerville; great grandmother, Verona Faulkenberry of Walterboro; aunts and uncles, Cherie Crosby, Jonathan Hiott, and Savanna and Steven Cooper; as well as a host of cousins, great aunts, and great uncles. He was preceded in death by several great grandparents.
Funeral services will be held 11 o'clock, Friday morning, October 27, 2023, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock at THE BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, WALTERBORO CHAPEL, 1193 Bells Hwy, Walterboro, SC, 29488. Visit the guestbook online at: www.briceherndonfuneralhome.com.
