Ander Groves Obituary

Mr. Ander Groves, 73, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, October 2, 2021 at Colleton Medical Center.

 

Born July 11, 1948 in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Edward Groves and Ruth Crosby Groves.  He was a retired sheet metal worker.  He enjoyed fishing, dancing and listening to music.  He especially loved playing video games with his granddaughter. 

 

Surviving are: his daughters, Michelle Stebner (Donald) of Walterboro, Stacy Bishop (Randy) of Islandton, and Christile Groves (Richard Pauley) of Walterboro; granddaughters, Harlie Bishop and Khloe Stebner; brothers, Richard Groves, Harold Groves, Ralph Groves, and Harry Groves, all of Walterboro; sister, Mary Ann Marino of Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Chasity Guinn; brothers, Dan Groves, Howard Groves, Sammie Groves, and Gene Groves; and a sister, Annie Ruth Eason.

 

Funeral services will be held 5 o’clock, Wednesday evening, October 6, 2021 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  The family will receive friends following the service.
