Amber Fulford

Amber Elizabeth Fulford entered into rest on April 23, 2020 at her home having happily just celebrated her 34th birthday on April 4, 2020. She was born 7.1 pounds and 21 inches long with the biggest and brightest sapphire blue eyes, an ever repeated description from her beloved sister, Tiffanie Rogers (Randy). She is also survived by her always caring and loving mother, Joy Maxey, her aunt Gloria Maxey, uncle Everette Beach (Dwan), first cousin Joy Phillips (Chris) and three cousins, Kirsteena Criswell, Brittanee Clark (Sydney) and Sierra Phillips, all of whom she shared an intense closeness and deep love. Amber was proceeded in death by her fiercely loved grandmother Elizabeth K. Way, aunt Beth Meyer and cousin Jackie Evans. “Fiercely”, accurately describes both Amber's personality and charge towards life. Strength and kindness characterizes this young and beautiful woman. Her strength was shown through the many health challenges she fought after having been diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis at only 3 years old, subsequently leading to nine surgeries. Most of us will never know that kind of pain and suffering. She demonstrated her kindness by volunteering at the Charleston Animal Society. She was currently working towards becoming a personal dog trainer. She was also a giving spirit, most excited to delight family or a friend with something special. She knew much love in her life from her family, from her friends and mostly from and for her most beloved pup “Taz”. She will be missed by all, even the animals! Amber graduated from West Ashley High School and continued living a creative life through her painting, gardening, designing and art.

Celebration services of this beautiful girl's life are being planned for Sunday afternoon, June 28, 2020, at the Kinsey Cemetery in Round O.  The Reverend Michelle Cockcroft officiating.   

She will never be forgotten.

She will always be missed.

All she touched are lucky to have had her in their midst.
