Mrs. Alice Ackerman Robertson, 84, of Ridgeville, entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, August 13, 2023 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Charles Edward Robertson, Sr.
Born October 6, 1938, in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Nelie Cinclair Ackerman and Pearl Catherine Faulkner Ackerman. “Nana” dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for Palmetto Exterminators and also worked in the Accounting Department at Colleton Regional Hospital for many years. A faithful and dedicated member of Maple Cane Baptist Church, she was a member of the church choir and the secretary of WMU. Her life was centered around her love for Jesus Christ. She enjoyed helping with the Meals on Wheels program and Angel Food Ministries. She was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. You could see her every morning sipping her coffee on the porch with her plants and hummingbirds. She also had the brightest yard on Peirce Road with her holiday lights.
