Yvonne Barnes

Ms. Yvonne Michelle Barnes, 57, of Cottageville, entered into rest Monday morning, October 17, 2022, at her residence.

Born August 23, 1965, in Charleston, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Jerry Campbell and Regina Pratt Alberti.   She was a beloved spit-fire, holding no punches. She was a giving soul that dearly loved her family and animals.  A dear mother, daughter, aunt, Meme, granddaughter, great niece, spouse, cousin and friend who is gone too soon and will be missed.

Surviving are: her husband, Chris Barnes; her mother, Regina; a son, Marshall Horne (Stephanie); two daughters, Christina Otto (Zack) and Amanda Smoak; two sisters, Chantel and Yvette Alberti; eight grandchildren; and a lifelong friend, Greg Barnes.

A celebration of life will be held at Santee State Park at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon, October 29, 2022.
