Wyman Cooke

Mr. Wyman Cooke, 78, of Cummings, died Friday, May 21, 2010 after an extended illness.



Funeral services will be held 4 pm, Monday, May 24, 2010 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, Ginn Cemetery.



Mr. Cooke was born March 31, 1932 in Hampton County and was a son of the late Jesse and Irene Reed Cooke. He was a retired school bus mechanic, member of Grays Church of God and Army veteran.



Surviving are: his wife of 53 years, Voncil Winn Cooke; children, Tammie Brunson of Varnville, James Cooke (Kim) of Ridgeland, Allen Cooke (Kathy) of Cummings and Greg Cooke (Marcie) of Ridgeland; sister, Mary Phillips of Early Branch; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
