Mrs. Winnie Gladys Crosby Drawdy, 99, of Walterboro, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest December 1, 2021, in Beaufort county.
Mrs. Drawdy was born March 30, 1922, in Walterboro, South Carolina, she was a daughter to the late Mr. William Melvin Crosby and the late Mrs. Amanda Rebecca Martin Crosby. She was the widow to the late Mr. Henry Franklin Drawdy.
Mrs. Drawdy was a member of First Baptist Church of Walterboro. She was a sweet and very caring lady, who was known to be generous and full of wisdom.
She is survived by: her daughter, Carol Mack and her husband, Kin of Beaufort; she is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Curry (Shawn), Frank Mack (Amanda) and Tammy Varn (Matt); and her six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by: her daughter; Sherry Lynn Drawdy Driggers; her brother, Woodrow Crosby; and sisters, Gwen O’Brien, Amanda Martin, Berniece Herndon, Edith Linder and Rena Barrineau.
Graveside service for Mrs. Drawdy will be held one o’clock Tuesday afternoon, December 7, 2021, at Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from eleven o’clock until twelve-thirty, Tuesday morning, prior to the service at Brice Herndon’s Walterboro Chapel.
