Willie Lemacks

Mr. Willie Lemacks, affectionately known as “Pete”, 87, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Born July 12, 1933 in Colleton county, he was a son of the late Henry Cecil Lemacks and Willie Bazzell Lemacks.  He worked for JP Stevens and Besteel.  Pete loved to work and was never afraid of hard work.

Surviving are: his sister, Retha Lemacks Mullins of Melbourne, Florida; nieces and nephew, Annette Whetzel Burke of Walterboro, Kay Whetzel Herndon of Walterboro, Linda Whetzel Breland of Ruffin, Pam Whetzel of Walterboro, Sue Greenfelder of Tacoma, Washington, and Ronald Lemacks of Melbourne, Florida; and many great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brothers and sister, W.C. Lemacks, Monnie Lemacks, Naomi Lemacks Whetzel, and Henry Cecil Lemacks.

Funeral services will be held privately.
