Willie Judy

Mrs. Willie Breland Judy, 88, of Cottageville, entered into eternal rest Thursday evening, January 21, 2021 at Colleton Medical Center.  She was first married to the late William Dawson Breland and secondly to the late Rogers Lavern Judy.

Born September 28, 1932 in Bamberg, she was the daughter of the late Euley Monroe Crider and Queenie Elizabeth Headden Crider.  She was an inspector for Asten Hill.  Mrs. Willie was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, loved watching her hummingbirds, and was an avid Braves fan.  She also enjoyed traveling and bowling with her late husband.

Surviving are: her children, Kathy Nettles of Walterboro, Steven Breland and his wife Vickie of Cottageville, Lisa Breland of Cottageville, Tracy L. Judy and his wife Xiaoyuan of California, James Judy and his wife Lois of Walterboro, and Johnny Judy and his wife Sheila of Savannah; and four grandchildren, Nichole L. Nettles, Bill Breland, Caleb Snider, and Joshua Rogers Judy.  She was preceded in death by her sons, William Dawson “Bill” Breland, Paul Judy, David Judy, and Ronald Judy; and a son-in-law, Floyd Nettles.

Funeral services will be held 3 o’clock, Monday afternoon, January 25, 2021 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.  Interment will follow in Doctor’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
