Mr. William Homer OQuinn, 82, of Dantzler Lane, Walterboro, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at his residence under the care of Agape Hospice.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church, 85 Hendersonville Highway, Walterboro. Interment will be held privately.
Mr. OQuinn was born November 25, 1930 in Walterboro and was a son of the late Henry Appy OQuinn and Lottie Pye OQuinn. He had worked for Asten Hill in Walterboro, but was a farmer most of his life. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mr. Homer loved wild hog hunting and loved horses. Most of all, he will be remembered for the love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren
Surviving are: his wife, his love, light and constant companion of 57 years, Altha Stanley OQuinn; daughters, Debbie Lemacks and her husband Gerald of Walterboro, Charlene Lemacks and her husband Wendell of Walterboro, June Gooding and her husband John of Green Pond, and Wanda OQuinn of Walterboro; grandchildren, Jeremy Spanky Lemacks and his wife Cathy, Katrina Drew and her husband Jesse, Bryan Lemacks and his wife Emily, Danielle Caldwell, Ryan Gator Lemacks and his fiancée Victoria, Andrea Johnson and her husband Jordan, Zach Gooding, Clay Crosby, Bryce Crosby, and Chance Palmer; and great grandchildren, Cody Drew, Madden Lemacks, Cloie Eppes, Axel Eppes, Stone Eppes and Bree Waters.
The family would especially like to thank the staff of Agape Hospice for the love and care they provided for Mr. Homer.
