Biography

Mr. William Mobley "Billy" Laird, 76, of Olar, entered into eternal rest, Monday, July 18, 2011 at Laurel Bay Nursing Home in Blackville.

Funeral services will be held 11 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Ehrhardt-Bamberg Chapel. Interment will be held privately.

Mr. Laird was born September 8, 1934 in Bamberg County and was a son of the late William Laird and Dorothy Mobley Laird. He was a former employee of Milliken in Barnwell, where he worked in the maintenance department.
