Mr. William Scott Kreighbaum, affectionately known as "Bill", age 51, of Thompson Street in Walterboro, entered into his eternal rest Tuesday evening, May 15, 2012, at his residence under the care of Southern Home Care Hospice.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 o'clock Saturday, May 19, 2012, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony in the Harbiston Stateroom of the mortuary until 5 o'clock that afternoon.
Mr. Kreighbaum was born June 28, 1960, in Michigan City, Indiana and was a son of the late Dennis Harmon Kreighbaum and the late Reverend Anna Long Kreighbaum. He was a painter by vocation and operated Bill Kreighbaum Painting in Walterboro. He was of the Methodist faith and will always be remembered for his personality that made him Bill to everyone. He has an outdoorsman, possessing a love for camping and fishing local freshwater lakes, and had just went camping days before his death.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Peggy Sue Northern Kreighbaum; two sons, William Marvin Northern and Kyle Scott Kreighbaum both of Walterboro; two daughters, Brandy Nicole Kreighbaum and Amanda K. Lyons and her husband Mason both of Walterboro; two sisters, Terri Ann Gallagher and Beth Marie Tolliver both of Walterboro; a brother, Dennis W. Kreighbaum of Canady's; and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Sandra Kay Northern of Indiana. There are seven grandchildren, Malaki, Roy, Johnathan, Kinsley, Brandon, Preston, and Alyssa.
