Mr. William David Kinard, 64, of Brunson, died Thursday, July 22, 2021, surrounded by loved ones, after a brief illness. David was the son of the late Will and Lucille Johnson Kinard. He is survived by his brothers, Rusty Kinard and Clay (Tammy) Kinard; sister, Deb (Bert)Burch; fiancé, Mary Ellen Stanley and her children, Olivia and J.J.; nieces and nephews, Jor-rel (Kara), Mary Elizabeth, Matthew (Heather), Kelsey (Thomas), and Michael (Anna Grace); great niece, Coral; as well as a host of family and friends.
David was a 1975 graduate of Wade Hampton High School, served his country in the United States Navy, was a volunteer firefighter and worked as a fabricator for Scotsman Ice Systems for over 25 years. David loved his family and friends, and was an avid fan of all sports, especially Clemson Tiger football, the Atlanta Braves, and NASCAR. He was an avid golfer, boater, fisherman and turkey hunter. He had a zest for life that drew people to him.
David was a member of Luray Christian Church but felt closest to God when he was in the woods or on the water.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, July 25, 2021, at Lake Warren Community Hut. The Reverend Noel Cooper officiating.
