William "Billy" Howard Kreitz, Sr.

William "Billy" Howard Kreitz, Sr., 57, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Wednesday afternoon, April 5, 2023, at MUSC Medical Center.  He was born December 6, 1965, in Buffalo, New York.  He was the son to William George Kreitz and Willis Edith Wellman Kreitz.

William proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Kreitz is survived by: wife, Tammy Kreitz; a son, Lucas Wright; a daughter Amanda Adams; step-sons, John Henry Murray, III and Thomas Hendrix; he is also survived by his grandchildren, Taylor Adams, Peyton Adams, William B. Wright and Dakota Murray.

William was preceded in death by a son, William H. Kreitz, Jr., and a grandchild, Lewis D. Murray.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 AM, Friday morning, April 14, 2023, at the Brice W. Herndon’s and Sons Funeral Home- Walterboro Chapel, 1193 Bells Highway, Walterboro, SC, 29488.

Committal services will be held at 12 o’clock, Friday afternoon, at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC, 29902.
