WALTERBORO " Mr. William Alvin Garnsey, Jr., age 23, of 33 Homer Lane in Walterboro, died Thursday morning, August 7, 2008, in Willmington, North Carolina from injuries sustained during an accident.



Funeral services will be conducted 2 oclock Sunday afternoon, August 10, 2008, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.



Mr. Garnsey was born September 13, 1984, in Walterboro and is a son of William Alvin Garnsey, Sr. and Ruth Davenport. He worked his life in construction with his father and was of the Southern Baptist Faith. He will be remembered for his love of hunting.



Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Amber Garnsey of Walterboro; his father, Mr. William Alvin Garnsey, Sr. and his wife, Rhonda Stanley Garnsey of Walterboro; his mother, Ruth Davenport of Ruffin; two daughters, Allayah Garnsey and Alaisia Fields; two brothers, Paul Garnsey of Walterboro and Larry Nettles of Ruffin; and four sisters, Crystal Smith of Ruffin, Ashley Garnsey of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, Brittany Roberts of Walterboro, and Tiffany Roberts of Walterboro. There is a nephew, Colin Levi Smith and a niece Elizabeth Hope Smith that also survive him.
